Victim Assistance & a Ban on Nuclear Weapons

Following a direct reference to the lack of victim assistance for nuclear weapon survivors by Austria in its pledge to work to bridge gaps in international law on nuclear weapons at the Vienna Conference on the Humanitarian Impact of Nuclear Weapons in December 2014 a brief paper by Article 36 looks at some of the issues around victim assistance and a possible future treaty banning nuclear weapons.
