The AP Mine Ban Convention Implementation Support Unit, has been providing “process support” to those States Parties to the Mine Ban Treaty that have indicated that they have a responsibility to significant numbers of landmine survivors. Process support involves providing advice to officials from relevant ministries to raise awareness of the matter, assisting with inter-ministerial coordination, liaising with relevant international and other organizations, and supporting inter-ministerial workshops.
